Rancho Chimiles walnut oil is a heritage Napa Valley product crafted from dry-farmed, old growth Franquette and Hartley walnut trees which are native to Napa Valley and produce a heart-shaped walnut that is mild-flavored and low in bitterness. Lyn and Terry Wilson of Rancho Chimiles followed their hunch that the Napa terroir that produces world-class vineyards and wines would also produce a walnut oil that is rich, aromatic, and delicious. Shelled nuts are lightly roasted, then pressed in the French tradition to produce an unmatched richness in flavor. Walnuts are the world’s richest source of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids, and walnut oil is a great way to add these health benefits to every meal. Suitable for medium-heat sautéing, baking, dipping, drizzled as salad dressing, and on pasta, potatoes, grilled fish and meat, scrambled eggs, movie night popcorn- and countless other ways!
